Public Ordering

Today, we want to talk about one of the features that dispatchNINJA has – the Public Order form. For those who are unfamiliar, this is an order form on your local dispatcher’s website that is for individuals or businesses that need something picked up and brought to their home or office.

 

This is amazing for when you don’t have access to a car and/or don’t want to take public transportation to the store. Perhaps your family is in the mood for a pint of ice cream but you don’t feel like pausing your movie – use the public order form! Maybe you’re entertaining guests and you’ve run out of wine – use the public order form! Maybe you want to surprise your wife/girlfriend with a bouquet of flowers – send it to her workplace using the public order form. There are so many situations and scenarios where the public order can save you time and money and a whole lot of hassle.

 

On the public order form, you will be required to fill in information such as your Name, Address, Email Address, Phone Number, and method of payment. You will also be asked to fill in what you would like brought to you. If you are a picky shopper, it is best to be as specific as possible. Otherwise, it will be up to the delivery drivers to decide things like brand names, quality level and price. The dispatchers will immediately receive your order once you have completed the order form. If there are any questions or issues with the order, you will be contacted by phone.

 

A confirmation email will be sent to the address provided in the order form with a tracking link to monitor the progress of your order. Here, you will also be able to chat with your driver and modify your order. Costs differ from dispatcher to dispatcher but usually start at a set fee for the first stop and an additional amount for every stop after that.

 

The public order form is a great feature for dispatchers and customers alike. For the customers, all they need to do is fill out a form online. For dispatchers, it saves them from having to talk on the phone and write down everything the customer says. It is also an additional revenue stream on top of regular restaurant deliveries.
